We All Did It!

This Martin Luther King weekend we built the new playground! Hundreds of volunteers showed up throughout the weekend and helped with everything from driving lag bolts in with impact wrenches to sanding, cutting and routing to helping watch the kids of all the volunteers to feeding the volunteers and everything else that went into making this build fantasticly successful!

A big thanks goes out to absolutely everyone that helped, whether it was by coming out in the cold and the rain to donating food or money or in-kind donations. This was a spectacular demonstration of a community coming together to do something great for the kids.

I'm sure we'll get some photos up soon; if you haven't already seen the new structure in person just check back soon and you'll be able to see what we all accomplished.
